Mission Statement

The School of Exercise, Training & Science (SETS) is committed to providing a vastly comprehensive education to each student, entrusting their learning to highly qualified faculty, presenting the most up to date and pertinent curriculum.  SETS strives to enable its students with the specialized training needed to enter the workforce and contribute to the community as a NSCA Certified Personal Trainers of the highest caliber and with advanced studies become a Exercise Nutritionist (EN).

Staff

David A. Shipitofsky DC, BS, NSCA-CPT
Director/ Lead Instructor

David received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration / Marketing from Monmouth College in West Long Branch, New Jersey.  After earning his degree he became a Manager and Fitness Instructor for Jack Lalanne Health Spa / Bally’s Total Fitness.  While attending New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, New York, David received his Doctorate in Chiropractic.  During his studies, he was a teaching assistant in Motion Palpation and Biomechanics and served as both the Coordinator and Instructor for the Neuromusculoskeletal Institute; an organization specialized in teaching Biomechanical Assessment, and Specific Spinal Manipulation.  He is certified by the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Personal Trainer.   David is now semi-retired after years in practice and is now utilizing his knowledge to serve the health and fitness industry.  For almost four years, David has served as both Director and Lead Instructor for the National Personal Training Institute of Phoenix.
